- IOPROB:
Electronic Systems Automated Test, Diagnosis and Repair Expert System. He
developed this system in 1994 to be used on digital phone switching IOP
systems diagnosis and repair, although their use and the theory developed
in the design is expandable to a wide variety of environments. It consists
on three modules that work in an interactive
way: an electronic module (hardware) for interfacing the IOP module to a
PC, programs that operate from the microcomputer as user's interface
(software) and administrator, and a low level program that resides in a
memory that is inserted inside the PCB to be tested, taking control of it
(firmware). The self-diagnosis firmware, jointly with the electronic
module and the software from the PC, isolates automatically the flaw
inside the card, and communicates to the expert system software, which
guides the technician in the repair in an interactive way by means of
artificial intelligence. The PABX IOP module for which he used the IOPROB
is a digital system based on Intel and NEC microprocessors and
microcontrollers. It possesses a bus-sharing multiprocessing microsystem,
with two microprocessors (Intel 8086 and 8089) in maximum mode, a high
level communications protocol HDLC microcontroller (Intel 8273) and a disk
units microcontroller (µPD,765 from NEC),
supported by controllers and bus referees, besides a controller of
interruptions, a timer, two serial interfaces RS-232C for terminal
handling and modem, and an extensive digital logic of medium associate
scale. The automated tests that IOPROB performs, embraces the entirety of
mentioned elements of the IOP module, detecting and assisting by computer
in the correction of any flaw. This system has being used for years by
technicians and engineers of Siemens's support department in Venezuela.
- Theory and
Scientific Method for Complex Systems Diagnosis. He
developed this theory to use it as an analytic and conceptual tool in the
creation of the IOPROB expert system database. There were postulated and
demonstrated theorems and fundamental definitions.
- Research and Analysis of
Thermal Effects in Cylindrical Condensers inside Extreme Environments and
Circuits with High Power Dissipation.
Mathematical calculations and advanced analysis were made on mechanical
and electric effects, deducting fundamental and indispensable equations as
a precision analysis tool under extreme conditions.
- Research and Analysis
of Data Writing Capacity and Density in Tapes and DATs.
He developed this study at Telcel
Bellsouth, to analytically determine the maximum amount of data blocks
allowed for download to tape or DAT in the switch billing and Database
backup process. Fundamental procedures and mathematical formulas were
deducted.
- Mathematics Musical
Model Theory. He developed a mathematical
model of timing for his musical project "The Dreams Concerto",
his second discographic release, for a segment
of the second movement of this work, which became the song Mathematics
and Arts II. The concept of contraposition between the mathematical
and artistic sides of musical creation is developed on top of this model
and focused in two ways: one exact, where its equations rigorously rules
the instrument performance without leaving space for mistakes and
improvisation; and one inexact, where the emotional human factor is free
to express itself. Maestro Andrés Briceño
has incorporated Raimundo Rodulfo's
Musical-Mathematics Model and "The Dreams Concerto" work as part
of his study program for music alumni, at his drum and percussion teaching
program.
- Raimundo Rodulfo's THE DREAMS CONCERTO Musical-Mathematical Model Geometric Fractals
Generation Software. Download here the install file (~3 MB, PC
Compatible). This is a software developed by
Raimundo Rodulfo, which allows you to see in real time in your computer
screen the evolution of the mathematical model which controls the segment Modelo Exacto
de 7! of Matemática
y Arte II in the Second Movement of The Dreams Concerto, by
a geometric fractals dynamic graphic representation.
- Robot arm. Three-movements robot arm with CD
motors, with a control module constituted by a 8080 microprocessor based
microcomputer, a D/A conversion module, joining and power and the
electromechanical system of the executioner arm. Designed control system
hardware parts and software, the joining system and power, and the robot
arm mechanical action system.
- PRTEST:
Serial Communications Automated Test System. He developed this
system for NCR equipment test at NCR Summa Sistemas,
Venezuela. Created besides the prototype of the portable equipment an
assembling line and mass industrial production, and an
emulation software to handle the remote connections testing. He
also performed methodological studies and performance analysis, costs and
mass construction industrial operations. It consists of a serial
communication testing portable equipment for computing systems and
communication, configurable to work with any standard parameter of baud
rate, parity and serial interface type. The developed system consists of
an intelligent Intel 8751 microcontroller based electronic module
connected to the serial port of any equipment with communications port
(modem, serial printer, PC, automatic cashier, etc.), which can be
configured in different ways to diagnose and detect any communication
flaw. At the same time, a communications
diagnosis software was developed, simulating the designed hardware module
operation in a computer, extending the diagnosis possibilities to parallel
interfaces. The communications diagnosis systems designed (hardware and software) have been used for years
by laboratory and field technicians of technical support department at
NCR's Rework Center in Venezuela.
- Automatic Traffic
and Performance Statistics Analysis and Monitoring Systems for Switching
and Telecommunications Equipment.
During 8 years of work in telecommunications companies he has
designed and developed 10 systems for automation of maintenance related
processes, diagnosis and statistics and phone switching systems remote
control, RF and energy.
- Net controller system. Based on Intel 8088
microprocessor, with communication protocol with the server (PC 80486) by
pulse wide, and drive of a video terminal and a switches arrangement and
LED's for each node. It was designed and the interface hardware was
programmed with the server, consisting in a microcomputer based on the MPU
8088.
- ADIO:
DSP Processor. It includes a hardware unit DSP with modules AD
and DA and interface toward a PC, and a digital
signals control and processing software. Some of the applications
developed in this platform are: external audio signals processor (musical
instruments), signals generator and oscilloscope. It possesses an
interface system A/D and D/A of I/O, with a microcomputer (PC), a program
that allows to implement by hardware and software
an input application as digital voltmeter and an output application as
sinusoidal, triangular, saw tooth and square signals generator, with
variables width and frequency. The electronic interface module and the
necessary high and low level programs were designed to implement the
mentioned applications.
- Data acquisition card:
using a Motorola 6802 microprocessor development module. There were developed the
electronic interface system, and the low level control program in the MPU
6802 machine language.
- Intruders Detection
Control System: made
with the help of a minimum computing system based on Intel 8080
microprocessor.
- Automated position
control servomechanism. Made for a CC motor, by means of a microcomputer, a
position codifier, a D/A converter and power circuitry. Designed hardware,
software and the joining power systems.
- Controlled Ignition
System for Industrial Processes. He performed design and serial construction of this
equipment for an industrial ovens construction company, when he leaded his
own engineering and development company. It is designed with discreet
power circuitry in which was used a SCR and a high output voltage
transformer (20.000 Vac).
