MUSICIANS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE "DREAMS" CD RECORDING:

Raimundo Rodulfo: Born in Maracay, Venezuela, November 25th, 1970. He pursued musical studies since 1977 until 1978 at the Escuela Sinfónica Infantil, where he started studying violin. He began autodidactic studies of classic guitar at the age of 12, and electric guitar at the age of 14. He continues his studies of guitar to date. Between 1986 and 1992 he joined several groups in which he started to compose music blending classic and contemporary elements. He performed at several festivals and shows in his country and in some professional recordings. Since 1992 he has dedicated himself to his musical projects as a soloist, composing music for guitar and group. In 2000 he produced his first album, Dreams, which includes one of his work as an independent writer, the science fiction story "Dreams", and in 2001 his second album, The Dreams Concerto, a Concerto for Guitar, Group and Chamber Orchestra in 3 movements, featuring 15 guest artists, including renown musicians as Andrés Briceño, Pedro Castillo, Pablo Gil, and Carlos Orozco, and British painter Peter Rodulfo. This last release was played live for the first time at the sixth issue of BajaProg Festival in Baja California Mexico, where he was playing joined by a 7 musician ensemble, including renown drummer Andrés Briceño. In 2003 he released "To LIVE a Dream - Official Bootleg" and "To LIVE a Dream 2 - Official Bootleg", two live full downloadable virtual albums, available from his website www.RaimundoRodulfo.com and featuring music from several live performances as BajaProg and ProgJazz concerts. All those albums and concerts, as well as Raimundo's work as guitarist and composer, have received the best reviews and many international recognitions in more than 20 countries.
Parallel to his musical career, Raimundo Rodulfo is an Electronics Engineer, specialized in Digital Systems and Telecommunications, and he has dedicated several years to Research and Development both in the academical and industrial fields.
He has worked as a Recording Engineer in his own recording studio, for his own projects and other artists as well.
As former member of ACIC (Cultural Iniciatives Civil Society), he has participated as colaborator in four concert shows in Caracas, Venezuela, with reknown international artists, including British star Rick Wakeman, reknown Swedish Rock band The Flower Kings, virtuoso Hungarian Ensemble After Crying and Caracas Chamber Ensemble.
As independent producer/organizer, he produced the concert show ProgJazz 2001 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He also produced and organized two academic events for the Centro Occidental University of Barquisimeto (UCLA): Pablo Gil Jazz Improvisation Master Classes (Feb 2001) and Andrés Briceño Drum Clinic Master Class (Apr 2002); and one plastic show: British painter Peter Rodulfo show, all of them at the UCLA's Auditorium.
Raimundo Rodulfo is also member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and SACVEN (Venezuelan Authors and Composers Society).

Frank Alburjas: Musical studies from 1974 - 1979 in the Vicente Emilio Sojo Music Conservatory where initiated academic flute studies in 1978. He formed part of the Juvenile National Orchestra from 1977 - 1988, playing piccolo and flute. He has worked as a music consultant in ecological projects and musicology research projects. He is practicer of the Rupanuga Gaudiya Vaisnava culture under the shelter of his Divine Grace Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja.

Jesús Pérez: TV Producer and Director. He's got ten years experience working for regional and national TV companies. Began his musical career as guitarist and percussionist in school bands in the 70's. Later, joined several Rock, Pop and Latin Jazz bands, and played in numerous festivals and concerts countrywide. Now he is an independent musician, doing session work and shows with groups of diverse musical genders.

Lérmit Martínez: Computer Engineer with a vast net and telecommunication experience. Studied piano and music since he was 7 years old; from 1988 up until today he has formed part of the band named "Jer", playing with them at numerous festivals and shows in Venezuela and USA. He was the musical director of the Coral Satire "El Gordo de la Alpargata", played as session musician, performed music arrangements, and composed music for several ads.

Alfredo Suárez: Studied classical, as well as, popular percussion since 1982 at the Juvenile National Orchestra. Participated in numerous tours throughout the European and American continents, and composed music for theatric plays. He performed as a session musician with a great variety of groups and genres countrywide. He is currently working as a music teacher in Germany.

Carlos Rodríguez: Professional musician since 1981. He did early music studies at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Music Conservatory, and has taken part of several national and international Jazz, Pop and Rock groups, as a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, playing acoustic and electric bass, piano and guitar. He now manages his own Latin Jazz group, touring throughout Italy and Venezuela.

Édgar Rodríguez: Since the 70's, at an early age, he studied music academically and mastered several instruments such as folk bandolina, cuatro, guitar, violin and saxophone. Performed as a violinist at the Municipal Orchestra, and as a saxophonist of the State Band. Worked as an arranger and session musician for several groups countrywide.

César Romano: Initiated music and violin studies at Jacinto Lara Music Conservatory at age 6; took part of the Infantile Symphonic Orchestra since 1977, joined the Juvenile Symphonic Orchestra and later the Professional Symphonic Orchestra, where he continued his studies and played up until today. He also performed with the Lisandro Alvarado University Chamber Orchestra, and has participated as a composer, arranger, director and session musician in several popular and religious bands where he worked as a singer, violin, cuatro, guitar, harp, mandolin and bandola player.

Efraín Ramírez: Architect specialized in Infrastructure, with a vast experience in Strategic Planning. At an early age, he did musical studies at Mérida's Conservatory, focusing in the violin and the viola. Worked as violinist and violist at Mérida, Trujillo, San Cristóbal and Falcón Symphonic Orchestras.

Ricardo Furiati: Systems Engineer with an MBA (Master in Business Administration) and manages a national software company. He's a certified radio announcer, which began his musical career as chorus singer, a baritone, from 1975 - 1987. Studied at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Music Conservatory, and played contrabass at the Lara Symphonic School. Played with Latin Jazz University Groups from 1987 - 1989 and played in the Pop-Rock group "Crit's", where shared the stage with the best interpreters of that genre.

Alejandro Socorro: Information Systems Engineer, and Training, Organization and Method Technician. He's got 12 years experience in Engineering Projects and Constructions Managing. He did three years of musical studies at Vicente Emilio Sojo Music Conservatory, and three percussion training levels with Maestro Orlando Poleo. Attended percussion master classes at Venezuela's Central University with Professor Felipe Renjifo and drums master classes with Professor Simón Bolívar. Played with Prof. Eduardo Betancourt Jazz Quintet, Prof. Ignacio Valera Jazz sextet, Huascar Barrada Jazz Ensemble, Nancy Machado group and several Latin Jazz groups.
